“Neverlandex” is heading to the Oscar-qualifying festival in Beirut!
We can finally share the news - this year’s hit short film by Agata Kapuścińska, "Neverlandex", which you’ve already seen in Kraków, Koszalin, Gdynia, Warsaw, and Łódź, and soon also in Toruń at Camerimage, has been selected for an Oscar-qualifying competition!
In the first week of November, "Neverlandex" will be screened at the Beirut Short Film Festival in Lebanon - the country’s oldest film festival and one of the biggest short film events in the region. The festival is accredited by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which means that award-winning films there gain access to a fast track toward Oscar consideration.
We warmly congratulate our students and graduates, as well as all the creators involved in every department of the production - and Tadeusz Łysiak, who supervised the project.
Your film has spread its wings and is soaring higher and higher - we couldn’t be prouder!
